Motion Amplification is a non-contact inspection process that Look Technologies uses to offer motion related troubleshooting services and in-depth analysis of plant machinery and components.
We use the Iris M™ Motion Amplification system from RDI Technologies™ to turn every pixel in the camera into a sensor that takes millions of measurements in a fraction of a second.
This enables us to instantly see and visually communicate to the client, component motion, that is generally invisible to the naked eye. With the capability to immediately transition to analysis, we can also assist client personnel in potential root cause problem solving.
Showing clients amplified motion can help solve many component motion related issues whether its component piping, structural, or rotating equipment.
